Moose Hunting

Moose, the largest member of the deer family, are abundant throughout the region that Nashwaak River Outfitters hunts in.  Moose weighing in excess of 1000 lbs are not uncommon, yours could be the experience of a lifetime.  Imagine yourself overlooking a completely still lake on a cool Autumn morning, mist rising off the water as the sun’s glow just starts to crest over the horizon.  A low subtle call by your guide results in a grunt from somewhere in the mist.  Another call and soon the majestic bull emerging from the mist heading straight towards you.  Slowly, you raise your rifle……..  Does this sound like an adventure you would like to Experience?

Extensive pre-season scouting performed by our guides always give our hunters an edge on locating the Moose when the season opens, increasing your chances of taking the largest member of the Deer family.  Non-residents must apply for a lottery drawing for a Moose license.  Contact us directly for more information on how to apply for the Moose drawing.

Fully Guided, 5 day trip: 3 day hunt $1750.00 U.S.   $500.00 deposit U.S.

Includes: Meals, guide, accommodations (spike camp) transportation.

Skinning, Meat cutting and license not included.
